Welcome (or Welcome Back) to Digital Media Arts! This is going to be an exciting year. I am thrilled to be a part of your Digital Media Adventure. Moodle will be an important part of our class. You will be able to check all of your assignments here at school and from home.

I look forward to bringing my industry experience to the classroom. I worked in television news for eight years as a news producer. I started my career at a small market in Columbia, Missouri. I then moved to the Fox & CBS affiliates in Kansas City, Missouri, before coming back to work at WDIV - Local 4 in Detroit.

I have also worked as a publicist at The Henry Ford. I worked with both local and national broadcast and print media. I also work as a freelance producer on special projects. I have helped produce an Emmy Award Nominated Documentary and other pieces for museums and businesses.

I am also teaching at the University of Michigan-Flint and Lawrence Technological University in their Communications & Media Department. I am hoping that by the years end - you will receive several opportunities to earn college credit while attending the DMA program at Lapeer County Ed-Tech.

So welcome, we have a lot of work to do this year and I am excited to help you get started. If you have questions please make sure you ask myself or Mrs. Strohm.
